High efficiency anaerobic digestion

SHAD(SESHINCLEAN High-perfomance Anaerobic Digester)
This is a next generation bioreactor that not only generates biogas in an era of high oil prices, but reduces electricity consumption, sludge generation, and chemical use. It is developed based on the exchange of foreign advanced technologies for over twenty years.

Overview

Organic material is converted to CO₂ and CH₄ by the hydrolysis, acid forming and methanogenic bacteria in anaerobic condition.

Characteristics

  • · Reduces time required for trial operation and significantly increases the treatment capacity thanks to quick sludge granulation.
  • · Reduces aeration power as most organic matter is converted into methane gas, which generates combustible energy.
  • · Requires less area on site compared to an aeration tank as high load operation is possible.
  • · Provides outstanding sludge dewaterbility.
  • · Generates less sludge (generates 80 to 90% less sludge compared to the activated sludge method).

Applicable wastewater

Wastewater containing organic matter with a COD/BDO level of over 1,000PPM is applicable.
